Below the review are YouTube videos of all You're Living All Over Me songs being played live by Dinosaur at various concerts.
Probably the most well regarded album. A band excited to be recording, just to be a rock band. Nothing lost from what you would hear live, and the subtleties you might miss at a gig. A lot of changes to get in these songs, particularly guitars, how it's layered, drops in volume, different parts needing different sounds it's like a jigsaw and to have caprtured everything going on in every song is amazing recording, and arrangment. Where guitars are violent, soft, everything they always are in Dinosaur Jr records. Vocals highlight melodies, like in Tarpit. This album never gets tired, and a case for always sticking to just drums, guitars and vocals, and ukulele. Still sounds as fresh as the day I first heard it. They have a habit of doing something different with the last song on their albums, in Poledo half expecting it to turn into Sergeant Pepper. Despite this handful of songs being packed with enough music to fill six or seven albums, it's still too short. So just the right length. Enjoy the live videos below.
